After cheetah park we started to make our way to Swakopmund via the bumpiest road ever!! Beach and Atlantic ocean on one side, the desert on the other! The journey was long but the campsite we stayed in on route was amazing!!!! No honestly it was...it was the beach....a freezing cold, windy beach on the Atlantic coast...no toilets!!! Actually no nothing!! Wasn't even a campsite! We pitched up our tents right on the beach,wrapped up in so many layers including bobble hats, yes it was that cold!! Have to say though we cooked the most amazing meal ever!! (mainly thanks to dave!!) chicken curry morocco style!! So yummy :-) and it warmed us all up! Whilst it cooked we all sat out and huddled together around Erica's laptop with sleeping bags and watched the hangover!! Random but funny!! Then it was eat and sleep, ready for an early start in the morning.

We woke up (still cold!!) and headed to see the seals before arriving in Swakopmund! Yey! however the seals hummed!! And I mean hummed actually nearly gipped :-( the babies were cute though!

Later in the afternoon we checked into our hostel where we stayed 4nights.Bliss!! Got so much done including my hair coloured with the help of Vicky!! We shopped, ate cake and even headed into the desert to sit on the sand dunes and drink beers :-) literally we had a few days to just chill before heading to dune 45 and fish river canyon! Even painted my nails hehe...
