So this wont be a long blog but thought I would just write a little bit about this one night of hell!

We were up at 4am for a long drive day! We were heading for Cafayate and stopped overnight at a campsite on route in Tafi del Ville-the coldest place we have been yet!!

We arrived late afternoon and pitched our tents.we were about 2500m above sea level and it was so so so so cold! My group were on cooking again so we wrapped up warm and got a fire started.By the time we actually ate it was dark and even colder!! We had an early night, I wore 5tops and started with 3pairs of trousers on until I decided I was still far too cold so added another pair! I was literally so far into my sleeping bag I barely had room to breath but I just wanted to be warm!!

As the hours passed neither me or vic were sleeping! I actually nearly cried I was that cold!!

In the morning we got up (had barely slept) and it was still freezing! We had to take our tents down which were soaked and then it started lightly snowing...we had so many layers on and I even sat in my sleeping bag on the truck...think I can honestly say I have never been that cold!! Camping and snow do not mix!! :-(

Apparently Chile and Bolivia are even colder....nice knowing you all!!
