It was Kurts Birthday wooo!! We had a look around the marina at Chula Vista then headed into San Diego to the Bay Area! We went to seaport village which had lots of quaint shops & restaurants on the harbour, a cute fishing port & lots of tourist attractions! We had a few Vinos & Kurt had some birthday beers! We went into Gaslamp for the afternoon & evening, this is the entertainment district which was really lively it Reminded us of Manchester’s northern quarter, lots of smart new cocktail & gin bars we were spoilt for choice! Kurt enjoyed some local IPAs & we played table tennis in a cheap Mexican sports bar! We found a great rooftop cocktail lounge which was out of our budget so the tab was on me for the birthday boy we soon worked our way through the cocktail menu then just about remembered how to get home! It was a great day we loved San Diego & can’t wait to see the rest
