Another late night so we had a lazy morning & a good breakfast on the marina then went for a swim & sat around the pool it was warmer & sunny but felt pretty cool compared to the hot desert we had gotten used to in palm springs! San Diego has a marine climate influenced by the Pacific Ocean jet stream. We had fish & chips again because we enjoyed it so much the other day then set off into the city to meet up with Courtney & Alvaro ready for the gig! We met in little Italy which was a quirky part of the centre with lovely restaurants & lots of rooftop exclusive bars which we loved! The gig was in the casbah a live music venue with a dive bar attached it was cheap & similar to small rock bars back home! There was only a few people in there which was a shame for the band as they were travelling so far on their USA tour! We introduced ourselves afterwards & had a few pictures, we had found them two new fans on their tour! We went to the waterfront bar afterwards for a final drink “San Diego's Oldest Tavern” holds the oldest full liquor license in the city since 1933. We enjoyed a few mules & beers finishing off a great evening with some great friends we loved their company & will definitely be back to San Diego...
