We had an early start to drive up to the sequoia National Park we stopped off at a big cat sanctuary which was amazing! It was a conservation park where they offered guided tours of some of the rarest cats in the world. We loved it and got some great videos of the cats whilst learning lots at the same time. The drive into sequoia was quite challenging the roads were very steep and we climbed to 8000ft. We stopped at The general sherman which is the oldest largest tree in the world, it was unbelievable and such a great sight to see! We then headed to Moro rock where we walked through the giant forest to get there! It was like being in a film set the trees were absolutely ginormous it felt very surreal! Moro rock was a great viewing point above the sequoia valley, we got some great pics, I surprised myself as it was really high and the 400 steps to the top were very steep but I made it! We had a long journey ahead so I made the decision to ignore the signposts about RVs not being allowed down the south side of the forest! Wow it was hard the bends were really tight and I had to drop the RV into 1st gear to get down! We made it eventually and it saved us hours so I was super proud of myself! We finally got to Bakersfield just after 10pm
