Brooke & Byron woke us up early Easter Sunday to join in the egg hunt, we had a yummy breakfast filled with eggs, hot cross buns & lots of chocolate then we played soccer, in the tree house & on the home made stilts outside with the kids it was great fun! Enjoyed spending time with the family with home comforts and great company in good preparation for our trip over the border tomorrow to the USA and the next leg of the trip...

We spent our last morning in whistler exploring the village & already discussing our next trip there! The bus journey back down to Vancouver was much more scenic with the blue sky. We got back into the centre early and made a mad dash to catch boxing in a bar, Anthony Joshua V Joseph Parker it was $10 entry into a bar which seemed like it was full of every English man in Vancouver! The weather had improved for our Peak to peak gondola trip, we headed up to the summit of whistler after breakfast. The ride was almost 25 minutes up the chairlift to reach the gondola station. We waited for the special glass floor gondola and made the trip from whistler over to blackcomb which is the longest unsupported lift span in the world (3.024 kilometres or 1.88 miles). We got the west coast express train into Vancouver and Joyce took us on the sea bus over to North Vancouver for a look around before the bus up to whistler, it was great to see the city from another angle. It was great seeing the house as we had seen so many pictures and heard stories about mission. We had a great evening chatting to Ron, Joyce & heather and getting to know Richard Brooke & Byron who were very entertaining and helped us settle in quickly!
