Since the last blog I have got myself a job at a hotel yey!! Samuel is still loving his job and has come back having caught the sun a few times as the weather is getting nicer.
We have been on a few little road trips around Wanaka... It's a beautiful drive wherever you go! We also did our first climb in the area... Mount Ion. It's the smallest mountain and I must admit I struggled a little which is a bit worrying!! Was a nice walk though and we got a beautiful view of the lovely little town we live in :)
We have also now checked out a few of the lush restaurants, mini golf and the quirky little cinema here.
As most of you will know, it was my Birthday on the 24th and I had a perfect day celebrating. The sun was shining and we took advantage of the pizza oven in the garden. We were very lucky to have one of our friends Lenny, who is a pizza chef, take charge so we had some very yummy pizzas!!
Samuel also got himself a new little toy (a bmx) this week so he can take advantage of the trails and skate parks here... The kind he dreamed of as a naughty little child! So he is one happy boy.
Since living in Wanaka, we haven't had many days without alcohol (oops!)... So tonight we are going to continue the trend and celebrate properly as neither of us have work tomorrow :)
