Day 23
Jeff and I are in sync - he was happy to just do 8kms today and that suits me perfectly. So we trotted along and when I slowed up stopped to shove some food into me (carry crackers, salami and cheese rations and gorgeous juicy oranges) - and then we here - plenty of time to wash and hang on the line to dry. Sun is out but air is still quite cold - like a Nelson winter's day - can hear frogs ribbetting in the pond next door.
Finally realised to find the action in a village/town have to find the Plaza Mayor usually hidden from main roads - and there in a bar/cafe were the local retired guys playing .... Dominoes! Photo a blur as didn't want them to realise - but in our old age should we meet at Devilles/Switch to play dominoes? Sounded quite exciting in Spanish!
