Day 31
Walking through great mountain area - familiar - bit like round Wakapapa Ski Village (no volcanoes above tho) - cold too but deserted run down buildings (see photo) - some are rebuilt as nice Camino bars and accommodation - that's all peregrinos spend their money on - no nic nacs.
Only 5 km today - not sure if good idea - been mooching around half asleep all afternoon - the nights seem long as it is. Full marks to Jeff - he always takes the top bunk - thanks Jeff.
Latest idea - I will get my pack transported so looking fwd to walking over the highest point of the Camino tomorrow.
