Dont let the photo fool you, the Gold Coast isn't all its cracked up to be! Managed to get here during a torrential downpour that lasted for our entire time here. But we didnt let it ruin our fun and had a good couple of days. We got in late our first night so we didnt get up to much but the next day we went to Dreamworld one of the big theme parks on the gold coast. It had some great rides including a 38 storie vertical drop and the claw, which was pretty scary. That night we went out with all the people in the hostel to a local club called Shooters. Was a great night and we managed to find a shot that is 78% proof. Puts hairs on your chest! Next day we went for a walk round the town centre and saw the beach. Sure it would have been lovely if it wasnt so wet! Need to come back when its summer!
