Ross and Natalie's Travel Journal
Laos capital is Vientiane. It is a small little town with not one high rise building...that is what makes Laos such a unique country. We stayed here for three days where we visited the placid Buddhist monastery Wat Sisaket. It has over a thousand ancient Buddha statues. We also went to a Hindu Buddhist Fantasy Park - a very strange set-up of a combination varying in size Buddha statues scattered around a green park...weird! That night we met up with both the couples we met in Don det had a great meal and a few bottles of wine.
