After Chiang Mai we decided to go to Kanchanaburi with its fine landscape and limestone hills. The town's main sight is the famous "Bridge over the River Kwai" It's a great little place and we stayed in the most amazing wooden bungalows on the River Kwai with stunning views. We are now back in Chang Mai (northern Thailand).We found a wicked guest house built like a traditional wood house for a bed less than a pound called Julie's Guest House. It was time for a dorm room, we have to get used to living the dorm life for when we get to OZ!! To be honest, a private room became vacant the next morning and we where in it straight away. Hoorah!! So we just made it over the bolder crossing in time. Back in the loverly Thailand Chiang Mai, but we have only got two days cause we are meeting jim and jo in Bali. Chiang Mai's great for shopping so yet again we shopped till we dropped!! Picked up lots of just out DVD's (superman, cars, CSI season 6 ) a few pashmina's and of cause bags bags bags. Then we had a drink with Bonnie and Mark before we had to catch our flight to Singapore.

Finally we got bored of the beach, decided to start with our next destinations and left for Bangkok. We visited the Weekend Market and drooled over all the many beautifully things that we can't buy...our backpacks are already so heavy. Our next destination was Bottle Beach on Ko Phang Nang... this place is truly a gem..completely remote, no cars and only a few bungalows with a fab atmosphere. We met a lovely English couple, James and Kate and spent most of our nights chilling with them. It's amazing how many cool people we've met so far not forgetting the occasional weirdo.
