We left our hotel this morning in search of the end of the Route 66 trail. We meant to go to Hollywood but once again we got lost. Why change the habit of a lifetime?! We did see the Hollywood sign from a distance but we ended up going through Beverly Hills instead. We found the pier and somewhere to park and had a quick stop and a picture by the end of the trail sign as we had a plane to catch!

We made it to the airport and dropped the Mustang off. I think Andy may have had a little tear in his eye! They were happy that we hadn't wrecked the car and sent us on our way. Now for 10 and a half hours back to the UK.

So, this is it. The end of our honeymoon. In total we did nearly 95 hours of driving and 4,146 miles. The mustang did everything we asked it to do and we didn't kill each other. The trip of a lifetime.
