We left our hotel this morning in search of the end of the Route 66 trail. We meant to go to Hollywood but once again we got lost. Why change the habit of a lifetime?! We did see the Hollywood sign from a distance but we ended up going through Beverly Hills instead. We went to the Cheesecake Factory! Which was AMAZING! Once again, we ate soooo much food. But it was soooo worth it. 

This morning we drove back down the Interstate to Barstow for our last leg of the trip. It dawned on us this morning that we only had one more sleep till we had to go home and we just were't ready to. (I've already started to plan our next trip!) Today we went back to Kingman so we didn't miss out any of Route 66 instead of going straight to Los Angeles as our tour package suggested. We overslept this morning. Today we had a lie in! We got up at a much more leisurely pace and went to find some breakfast. Once breakfast had settled we decided to go for a walk down the strip to the Las Vegas sign. The walk was about a mile and a half but in 40C heat it felt more like 5 miles. We made it to the sign and on the way back we stopped at the Harley Davidson showroom which has a cafe attached.
