Today we set off from Amarillo with an earlier start than yesterday. More waffles for breakfast. We found Cadillac Ranch and took an enormous amount if pictures there. We then continued through Wildorado and Vega to Adrian, the midpoint of Route 66. We are now officially half way through our trip! We stopped at the Midpoint Cafe for some lunch. Andy had an enormous pulled pork burger with a pot of apple sauce the size of a small coffee cup.

Made it to Texas today! We are now roughly 1100 miles into our trip. This morning started slowly - we overslept! Once we'd got going we left Oklahoma City and travelled through El Reno, Bridgeport and Weatherford on the old road. We stopped at Clinton at a Route 66 museum which was amazing. The weather was amazing again today so we had the roof down most of the day. We continued through Canute to Elk City where we stopped at another (much larger!) Route 66 muse...
