After a quick final yoghurt fruit and honey for breakky, we headed to Parikia to board a fast ferry to Rafina (mainland Greece). The Sea Jet - funnily enough, this ship was built in FREMANTLE! We met up with Roses dad and brother and got on a small plane that took us from mainland Greece to Paros. Boy… was it a rough landing that day – due to the strong winds!!! The night we arrived in Acropolis, Athens was a massive debacle. We timed the Greece referendum perfectly to arrive in Athens amidst chaos in the main square – Syntagma on the Greek referendum night. We wish we had taken pictures of the government square that night where there was a massive Greek demonstration full of people and music at near 12am.
