Well I wasn't going to use a picture of Parliament House for where I am, and only the locals would realise this is a Red Kangaroo so I have not seen one around Canberra.

Mixed news at the moment. On the good side Calvary was quick to have all the paper work done and there are night shifts on the roster for me in April and I have been allocated to take over the roster of one of the nurses going on leave. Bad side, Calvary is in financial crisis so my position has not been fully approved. But on the good Andrew, and old colleague, has a position at Queanbeyan ED and has said he would give me work there.

Share flat is almost all bad news. The one I sent away bond for turned out to be a fake and Western Union had the woman's name down as a warning not to issue funds to her without additional confirmation. Thank god for Western Union so I cancelled the funds and got most of my money back. I guess I am still jet lag and my guard was down.

But I am off to the Bells for dinner and caught up with the O'Keefes last night. My computer is working so I have internet and can catch up with this blog and my emails.

Hope everyone is well, I am working on it and have decided to stop house hunting for a week and if it is OK with Simone just sleep here and recover for a week then get into finding a house. I met Alex for lunch at Sizzle Bento (fully renovated) and he is going to put the feelers out for me.

I guess I am lucky Western Union security stepped in. I thought the woman was getting a bit too pushing for the funds, and when she could not get them yesterday she called me at midnight here. I decided then I did not want to be a flat mate as I thought that was really inconsiderate.
