Update from Canberra,

Things here are plodding slowly. I have been to Calvary and done all the paperwork and am awaiting confirmation of available work. I shall probably go to Queanbeyan and see Andrew and line up some work there as well.

On the housing front I have been almost caught in an internet scam for a share house, but have seen 2 real places in Palmerston so hopefully I will hear back on Monday and be in my own place by early next week.

Friends are all well and I have caught up with Dan & Laura who are off climbing Mt Kosciusko (spelling ?) today. Last night Greg & Faye & I went to Sky fire. This is the fireworks that celebrate Canberra Day. So a very nice dinner, which is the second very nice dinner I have had with the Bells. Sky fire was really good this year. We watched from near the Uni and had a waterside seat. Also we had a frittata, chips (cold) and coke (liquid).

Also I caught up with Justin & Eddie. Hope your exams went well.

Today I am considering going to watch Pippa's old football team play at Canberra Uni. But only considering.

When I have some sky fire photos I will change this boring one of Parliament House, but until then...alas.
