Day 2 and we've put over 600 km on the clock, but more importantly it really feels like we're away from the city.
Camped at South West Rocks on a remote national park campground. What this place lacks in facilities it makes up for with views, with a long sandy beach and Smoky Cape lighthouse above. I could get quite settled here on the beach watching the surf.
Today started with a Caroline going for a run, whilst Gareth sat and had a coffee watching the waves roll into the bay. Then a short stroll at Red Cliff with friendly Roos.
Driving down to Coffs Harbour we stopped at Woolgoolga for the views of the Solitary Islands. We then called in at the Big Banana!!
Coffs Harbour was nice and we passed our time walking to Muttonbird Island, eating fish and chips, and when it all got too hot, playing in the sea.
We're roughing it!!
