London Day 5
Amy, Ellie, Luke, and I took the tube to Notting Hill and had breakfast in a nice little cafe. We then walked through Notting Hill found the approximate place where Amy stayed when she did her study abroad here in London. Hyde Park was close by so we spent some time hanging out there. We met Kristin and the boys for a picnic lunch outside of the Natural History Museum. That was the last time we will see them this trip as they are off to Stockholm early tomorrow to visit my aunt Birgitta, cousin Marie, and her daughter, Mia.
We spent the afternoon in the Victoria and Albert museum. It is another big museum that you could spend days in and still not see everything.
After the museum we went back to the hotel to get ready for an evening of theatre. Ellie really wanted to see Cabaret, so as part of her graduation present we got tickets. My parents joined us. We got some fish and chips for dinner at a nice little chip shop and then walked to the theatre.
The performance was wonderful! Ellie ranked it in her top three of all time. We then said goodbye to my parents (They are joining Kristin and the boys in Stockholm) and took the tube back to the hotel.
Tomorrow: Westminster Abbey
