So yesterday was a pretty lazy day after the excitement of our island tour and cookery course and we organised ourselves for our onward journey to Thailand. After a short journey to the boat and sailing for an hour and a half, we pitched up at Satun and were packed (literally!) on a Songthaew (a little truck with benches in the back and no windows) that took us to the bus station. We then boarded a coach to Krabi which took us through five hours worth of small towns and rubber tree plantations before dropping us off at our first Thai destination and one of Howellsey's old stomping grounds! Can't wait to try some of the food at the night market later. Pad Thai here I come!
