Today was our adventure day!! We hired a scooter from our host and the conversation went something like this... Ian, "do you need to see my driver's licence?" Annie, "no" Ian, "we've not ridden one of these before" Annie, "I'll get you an automatic then, otherwise you'll be dead honeymooners!" Today was a relax and admin day. We've decided on a few days in Phuket before heading to Bangkok for the last few days. We will probably do some trips out of Phuket and then spend a bit of time exploring Bangkok. Sadly the floods have meant going further north isn't an option this time round. Looking forward to the sights and sounds of Bangkok all the same though! We had dinner on the beach and watched some fire jugglers do their thing! Quite impressive!

We were picked up after breakfast and taken to Koh Mook, the first destination of our 4 island tour. Here, we took part in a bit of snorkelling not too far out from the beach. After this we went to an Island which appeared to have no way of getting on it due to the cliffs. That's when we were told that an 80 metre swim through a tiny outlet of one of the caves at the waterside would take us through to a hidden lagoon within the confines of the island. It was pret...

Came back from breakfast on the beach to find our room had been cleaned from top to bottom. Even my pyjamas and Howellsey's boxers had been hung up (see pic)! Note to self that a step up from hostel means maid service! Later they had also left us our daily afternoon fruit snack in the fridge - bonus! Apart from these excitements we mainly swam in the sea (which is bathwater warm!), read, ate, watched the sun go down and the sea eagles circling and trying to catch...

Today we were transferred from Krabi to one of the islands on the Andamen coast, Koh Lanta. It didn't take long and we were soon strolling up the beach after a lovely glass of pineapple juice as a welcome drink provided by our hosts at the Banana Garden Home. The beach is amazing and we're looking forward to some R&R here as well as some cocktails and island hopping trips! Hopefully we'll get an even more beautiful sunset if the clouds lift at the right time ...
