We arrived in Hoi An at lunch time, the weather is much cooler at the moment not what we are used to and the area is catching the tail end of the typhoon. The hotel is lovely and our room overlooks the river, we are here for seven nights so plenty of time to get to know the area.

Or first job was to drop our washing into the laundry next door. Prices are so very reasonable and almost the entire contents of our cases will be washed, ironed and ready for collection by tomorrow afternoon for about £6.00.

We then caught the shuttle bus in to town and visited Cafe 43 and had a fantastic dinner, Adam and Laura you were right about the stuffed squid - really wonderful!
