Coming back to the Sheraton Hotel was like coming home, how impressive to be greeted by name in a 300 bed hotel.
We arranged for a student guide to accompany us today, we visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the temple of literature, the prison and the B52 museum.
It was an unusual day which included a lost lunch order, delaying us in the restaurant for over an hour which meant that Jan was on hand to administer first aid when another diner collapsed and a taxi driver losing his way but Dave was able to advise him.
Upon returning to the hotel this evening we learnt that trips to Halong Bay had been suspended due to bad weather closing in. It made us realise we were so so lucky to have cruised the bay.
We have loved our three weeks in Vietnam and are so pleased we took advice and travelled the country South to North finishing on a high in Hanoi.
This is our last evening in Vietnam tomorrow we begin our next adventure!!
