So this was our allocated pool day - just relaxing. After brekkie down at the restaurant we returned to our suite, put on our swimmers and lounged on our private swim up lounge deck, just reading, napping and swimming. It was lovely. Sitting on a noodle and just bobbing around in the water was bliss, as was reading on the lounge chair. Our deck had a little direct sunlight from time to time, filtered by the palm trees, but it was mostly in dappled shade. The pool is just beautiful and at lunchtime they turned on the waterfall at the restaurant end of the pool, much to the delight of the children. At the end of the day we showered and shampooed and went out sightseeing - driving up to the lookout above the town. We then walked the length of the Main Street trying to decide on where to have dinner. Tom eventually decided on a steakhouse where he ordered a scotch fillet steak. I ordered Moreton Bay Bugs Linguini and was a little dismayed when a tray of Moreton Bay bugs arrived with nothing else - yes, second time in three days that my order was wrong. Tom ate his dinner whilst I waited for mine. When it arrived eventually it was truly delicious. We were not compensated in any way for having to dine separately, for them having confused the order. Very disappointing. We returned to Peppers and watch The Empire Strikes Back on TV.
