Im feeling a lot better today, after a good nights sleep and a long shower.

I met my dorm mates last night - they are really nice. Paul and Becky from Ireland, Dan and Jo from Petersborogh and Aron from London. We all got into bed at 10pm for an early night and sat up talking for an hour or so.

I woke up this moring at 07:30 and had a shower, got dressed and walked into the city for breakfast. I had pancakes with syrup - lovely!

I went to an internet cafe and booked up my weekend of tours - Im going to the famous Steve Irwin Australian Zoo tomorrow and Warner Brothers Movieworld theme park on Sunday.

I came back to the hostel and rented a dvd - Die Hard with a vengence. I came up to the tv room to watch it and met a guy from Irelend - Ciaron. I got talking to him and we decided to go for a walk by the river after we had watched the film. We stopped off for lunch at the bar downstairs and Ciaron paid for us to have a steak and chips - it was so good! Mmmmm!

We are back at the hostel now and we've decided to go to Surfers Paradise on Monday for two nights and Byron Bay on Wednesday night for two nights. Its so nice to know that I have someone to travel with for a few days now.

I have spoken to Adam (the guy I met in Cairns, who I was supposed to be meeting here in Brisbane) and he is coming down to Sydney for a couple of weeks to see me instead, which is wicked.

I had a tx from Lisa (my friend in Sydney) this morning and she is going to help me look for a job when I get there, which is brilliant.

Its all sort of falling into place now, so I feel a little bit better.

Im going out for a few drinks with Ciaron tonight, nothing much planned - might have a game of bowling - although I am absolutely terrible!
