Today was a cruising day which took us to Hubbard glacier. What a beautiful site!! The captain took us amazingly close and turned the ship all around for a great view.
Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in North America. It extends 76 miles from Mt. Logan in Yukon Territory. The face is more than 6 miles across and 300 ft high with the most beautiful blue ice. We watched from our balconies and could hear the continual thunder of the ice shift...
