I am swimming through the streets of San Francisco. I've never seen so much rain. It actually hasn't stopped all day. And I got soaked through! Water was bubbling up through my toes in my shoes and I could wring out my ski jacket! It's cold too. At least the hostel is warm which is much better than the Hollywood one and the internet is cheaper. Instead of 150 mins for $10 I can get 200 mins here.

All I did yesterday was take another look at the Chinese Theater and Walk of Fame on Hollwood Bld and then get coffee on Sunset before catching my shuttle bus up to San Francisco. The bus was quite comfy really even though the journey took 7.5 hours! I arrived here about 8.15pm last night and just did washing and heated up canned ravioli for dinner. Yummy! I've got the top bunk this time which is extra fun since this hostel doesn't provide ladders to get up there! So a bit of night time gymnastics is in order - and not in that sense! If I get drunk I'll be sleeping on the floor! There are only 4 of us in the room this time (in Hollywood there were 8) but 2 of them are the same girls! They just left a couple of days earlier than me from LA and the other girl was on the shuttle bus up from the hostel too. It's a small world!

Still haven't found anywhere that I can upload my photos. Really not sure what I'm going to do about that! I'll just have to keep buying new memory cards and sending them home when I'm done!

Mum I've resent the email that I sent on 22nd. Have just paid credit card bill online. When next bill comes can you put on the msg board when payment is due and how much mimimum payment is please. Internet banking doesn't give me that info. Thanks x.

Tomorrow I might go to Alcatraz but I really don't fancy getting this wet again. Not sure what I'll do! Tried to find welly boots today but no luck. I did manage to find a cord skirt and a jumper for the grand sum of $20! Bargain.

Well if I do anything interesting I'll update again!
