St Patrick's Day not only meant a huge celebration, it also meant the arrival of Nat and Ryan!
It was safe to say we all got a bit overexcited at the reunion - reception got very rowdy before I stole Nat away to show her around Queenstown and fill her in on all of the gossip she'd missed. Very important.
We got a bit more St Patrick's Day shopping in before going to get Nat's first Ferg Burger and stocking up on some sweets for when we got hungry on our night out!
Then around 4pm we decided it was about time we started to get ready for the evening ahead. So dressed up all in green, we headed to one of the other hostels for a few drinks with everyone before starting our own bar crawl around Queenstown.
We thought Queenstown had been quite busy on the other nights we had been out, but St Patricks Day was another situation entirely. I'm not entirely sure where everyone came from but everywhere was absolutely packed.
It was a brilliant night until my bag got stolen, with my passport, purse, drivers licence and credit card inside, bringing the festivities to an end.
The bar told me I should come back in the morning when they had tidied up so I did the only thing you can do when you've lost all your belongings and are crying in the middle of Queenstown. I went to McDonalds with Nat.
Then I crawled into bed hoping to wake up and find it was all a bad dream in the morning.
