Today was the first lie in I've had in far too long. So naturally we took full advantage of it.
Rolling out of bed around 11am we went for a group brunch at a place called Vudu, which had the best scrambled eggs and bacon I've had in a very long time - best start to the day!
I then spent the rest of the day ambling around Queenstown, making numerous stops in Starbucks to write some blogs and get free wifi.
Once David had arrived back from his Nevis Swing adventure (the fact he said he liked skydiving more than the swing clearly meant it was terrifying!) we headed to the place people wouldn't stop going on about: Fergburger.
Now I'm not going to lie, I was one of the people that said the phrase 'it's just a burger, how good could it be'. However, I've seen the error of my ways and can confirm that they are the best burgers I have ever had. Seriously. You need to try one.
The end of the day saw a group of us attempt to have drinks at the lake, before admitting to ourselves that it was too cold to pretend we were in Australia. So we headed back to the hostel, not exactly ecstatic about our 7am departure for Milford Sound the next morning.
