Ok moved on, not far as have 2 sore blisters on my left foot, aggravated my me smashing one of those sore toes into furniture in the dark so adding a bruise to the poor toes miseries.
We stayed in a nice B&B last night rather than on the floor on a mat in the official hostel. Had a fun time at the pub trying to communicate but finally got a nice pilgrims set dinner menu. Surprisingly little English spoken here even by hostel people. WAlked 26 kms yesterday but only 16 today and had the PM off resting feet, washing clothes, on the net ( you should have got an update today) had a drink , now I am roasting in the sun ( 6 pm) while Margaret is out buying tomorrow's - yes bread !!!She found some pate stuff to
put on hers , I am sticking with bananas and an orange for the PM.
Ok we bussed into Burgos this AM, had intended walking some of it but the bus didn't, stop at that town so here we are.Dumped stuff then went and checked out the most OTT ( over the top) Cathedral - amazing !
There is wifi here so I can catch up after being deprived for 10 days.
Back on the road tomorrow to Leon - 160 kms or 6 days of walking.
So glad to hear everyone safe after bad weather in NZ- esp Christine and Bruce.
