What a special 2 weeks I have had. 2 weeks with my family.. in paradise. What more could you ask for :)

I arrived in boracay, philippines coming over from khao lak and was dropped at sandcastle resort! Wow! It is a 3 story, 7 room resort in which our group took up 2 (incl. Penthouse and roof)... Right on the water, in the heart of station one white beach, right in the action! Fantastic! Coming up the stairs, lugging my backpack, hot and sweaty I see mum in her swimmers and sarong,
Sunglasses on, book in hand looking totally relaxed! She was on her way to our private beachfront area for a read and a swim!! And she spotted me.. A huge smile on her face... Laughing we hugged and it was quite surreal! Its was perfect!

So the boracay crew was 11 in total. Mum, phil, steff, me, jordy ad Thorne.... Then Andrew and Jo (family friends), and their 2 kids hugh and Kate.. Plus hugh's gf Emily!

Over the 10 days we ate, read, swam, snorkeled and relaxed together... We enjoyed drinks and cheese platters and intense games of 500 on the penthouse roof... Phil and I did some dives together for the first time... Thorno and I did the backpacker thing and partied a lot :)

Highlights of the trip:
500 card nights... American pancakes and eggs at real coffee... Soy lattes... Steffs big night on boracay melon flavored rum... Thornes family slip up... Charlies bar.. Prossie toilet... Jungle bar.. Hunger games... 500 team awesome - prue & mum! Giggling gerties stealing food from fridges at 5am... Backstreet boy singalong... Phils diving disasters.. Napkin cup drinking game... Latte Sheesha... Red horse

Just want to say a big thanks you to my family for this amazing trip! Spending time with you all is so special and precious! Thank you sooo much!!!

Merry Christmas!!

Now I'm back in khao lak.. Christmas eve is tonight! Tuuli has organized a special dinner at O'rendevouz tonight with friends! Will be great to see everyone!
