The last few days we have spent chilling out back in Kota Kinabalu (kk) catching up on the fresh seafood from the market that we have been craving, heading out to the local islands for some sun, shopping, icecreaming and dancing! It's been a pretty good last days actually.

We have met some really cool people and last night we headed the BED.. Yup thats the clubs name! And it was crazy awesome! So busy, amazing live band, cool mix of locals and westerners... And great dance music! First dance night in a while! Yeow!
Left the club at 3.30 headed to the corner shop (a local Malay bakery/cafe which sells sweet N savory goodies.. So of course rik and I ate ourselves silly mixing mee gorang with choc cookies and banana bread.. Whilst rashel (Aussie girl we love) braved an avocado shake - which didn't really work.. So she passed in on the the garbage tip girls hahaha!

Today i spent the day preparing for the zoo. I bought a camera (as mine died :(. ), books, toiletries etc. Not too exciting..

This arv I got picked up by 2 Malay girls - Ronn and veronn to take me to lol Kawi wildlife park!!! Woohoo. Such nice girls.. Spoke fantastic English! They dropped me off at my new home.. With directions to wait around for JB (the guy in charge), who's going running late getting back from sepilok as the weather is shocking...

So within the first hr I cleaned up my room, unpacked my Bag, cleaned the bathroom, the fridge and just generally tidied the place up... It looks like it's been in inhabited for a while... Ah well. I put my books ad comp beside my bed and emptied out my toiletries bag and it's starting to take form and feel like home.. I don't think it will b
Completely comfortable until I buy some bed linen from the supermarket... Thank god for a sarong, a towel and long clothing! Haha

It's dark now.. I haven't had a chance to explore yet! That will b my mission tomorrow. It Feel really good to b finally here... Im looking forward to meeting everyone and all the animals and just generally getting into a routine again!
