Woke up early on the 8th and steph came over for goodbye nutella pancakes.. 10 oclock came around fast and soon enough i was sitting reverse on the back of the a moped wheeling my back down the hill To meet up with pee aoy to take me to Phuket airport!!! Sad goodbyes... I have definitely made it home here! Anyway arrived in kuala lumpur and headed to the bag pickup where rikki was waiting for me! What an awesome surprise! So good to see that girl... The next 3 hrs were spend chatting 100 miles an hr with as much slang as possible.. To the point our names got called over the system that we were required to board immediately! So we have now arrived in Borneo... First stop Kota Kinabalu (the capital)... day 1 was spent
Diving out at gaya islands.. 3 dives! Pretty amazing.. Saw my first orangutan crab and pajama cardinal fish + loads more.. That night we head out for dinner at the seafood market with ruth and Nora, 2 girls we r bunking with.. Amazing squid, red snapper, veggies and tiger beer! Delicious!

Day 2 we spend the day once more underwater (3 dives) at new dives site around the local island.. Once again impressed with the diversity of soft coral and different species of marine life I haven't yet scene! Dinner was Indian with a fam from the uk that has been living in saudi Arabia the pat 10 year.. Graham, Lindsay and Becky! Great craic... Tiger and red wine flowed... Followed by haulicks gelato! Yum!

Tomorrow we r headed back out to the reefs for 3 more dives! Bring it on!
