Once again I headed back to kota kinabalu (KK) for the weekend. I got there at lunch time, after saying my goodbyes to shida who was flying back to KL :(... I checked back into lavender lodge! Warm greeting from the girls as usual.. I headed up to the chillout lounge where I caught up with Shane and will (the guys I've been bumping into all Sabah).. They were flying out in a couple of hours so we decided to head out or a beer! Sad goodbyes... Will definitely catch up with u boys later on in your travels!

Back to the lodge to watch a movie.. I met this cool Aussie chic Megan who is over here for 2 years tracking elephants for her PHD! Cool stuff. I'm trying to organise a trip out to visit her and camp with the elephants! That will be awesome!

That night I met 3 girls all traveling individually and headed to dinner at the corner store.. Everyone enjoyed their first taste of avocado shakes! Random but yummy! Katie and I continued on in town at the loft! Great girl... Crazy story's! Fun times!

Sunday woke up early, met Kylie (a taZzie girl) at breakfast and headed by ferry to mamutik island for a relaxing day in the sun and salt! That night I chilled out in the lodge and watched a movie.. Then early to bed!

Woke up early Sunday said goodbye to Katie... And deanne and I headed to the local Kk beach for a lazy afternoon in the sun with a coconut.. Followed by fruit and vege shopping... Then back home to lok Kawi! My fridge is nice and full now! Papaya, banana, avocado, mango, bread, tea!! It will b nice to wake up tomorrow morning with a mango, avocado on toast and a cuppa!

Fantastic weekend! Relaxed and ready for the bird unit this week! Yeow!
