7am start after about 3-4hours sleep wasn't the best way to start a day but we has to pack as we were off trekking today! We got up and ready and got all our stuff sorted for the up coming day, we got a transfer to the trekking around 9:30 and dropped off a little village a little while later on, we started the jungle trek after lunch and it was fairly hard going due to the humidity and lack of sleep... But we'll worth it, it was good to get out the city and away from everything, it was literally just our group trekking through the jungle which was really serene, our guide Deetoo kept stopping us for breaks and telling us stories which was really cool and he was a super nice chap, we eventually ended up at Elephant Village around 4pm I believe and hopped on our second elephant trek of the trip which was a pleasant treat after a leg shaking trek. After about a 40 minute elephant trek we say down for dinner cooked by one on the local villagers and then the group began to mingle properly and share stories around a fire, it's been an amazing day and I'm currently typing this entry in a little wooden hut in the village in a mosquito surrounded by the sound of insects and the jungle, I'm so glad I've done this even if my legs do feel like they're about to fall off!
