Today was defiantly a day for a hangover, I awoke to the site of a rainy city and a sore head, I both praised and resented the rain at the same time, I really wanted to go explore Chiangmai but at the same time I wanted to sit around in my comfiest clothes and do absolutely nothing.. Safe to say the latter of the 2 options occurred which gave me time to sort through and upload a couple weeks of photos to my blog/Facebook which I was happy about, whilst in the act of uploading photos I get a message on Facebook from one very hungover Mr. Le Page who to this point had been napping, it read something along the lines of 'hangover getting worse, need lunch' so being the pal I am packed up my gear and we set off down the road to quell the beast of a hangover, we had a huge portion of some local delicacies and then I messaged Ash and Kat and we arranged to meet up for dinner later before we went to watch some Muay Thai boxing, we met around 6:45 and demolished another decent meal before setting off to get good seats at the local Muay Thai arena, the fights were good but I did prefer the ones at Siem Reap, afterwards the 6 of us set out for a beer (myself, Jed, Ash, Kish, Kat and Ulla) it was around 11:30 when we discovered it to be Ullas birthday in 30 mins, luckily we were at the Karaoke bar again so at the stroke of 12 we all got on stage and sung her happy birthday followed by various solos and duets from everyone in the group, we then went to Yellow for a night cap before calling it a night around 3am, another triumphant night in Chiangmai, however we've now agreed to lay of the heavy drinking a while... Let's see how that ends.
