We are now in Bangkok. We eventually left Hong Kong in the typhoon which led to a 3 hour delay and a fairly shakey take off.

The drive from the airport to the hotel was intersting with the taxi driver not knowing where the hotel was. The hotel is cool, we have a pool and more importantly a great bar 50 yards away called Gullivers which does awesome Thai food.

We are currently in Patpong (PingPong as known by the tourists) in an internet cafe between 2 strip joints.

We will explore for the next few days before heading up to Chiang Mai on Monday night.

We have uploaded our pictures of Hong Kong and will do the same for Bangkok in a few days.
