Abbie - After getting up early we were ready to go on a whale trip on a boat. After boarding the boat we headed out quite deep before the sighting of our first whale's backs. We turned around and …… we saw whales breaching (which is jumping right out of the water!). It was amazing. There were two of them. They were so active, jumping up and down out of the water. After morning tea provided for us and watching the whales for 40 minutes we got back to the harbour and met up with Neville and Elliot. We then walked along a one kilometre pier. After lasagne and a nice fire, we went to bed.
Olivia - We got up this morning and just Mum, Dad, Abbie and I went to the whale watching cruise. We got on the boat and headed off. We got out deep and saw our first sighting of a whale. We only saw its back and its tail but at least it was a whale. Next we turned around and saw a whale jumping out of the water and slapping its body back down. We were all amazed until we headed off to another place. We saw a whale with its baby. It was very cute. Next we turned around and headed back. We got back and found Elliot and Neville. We had lunch at a bakery and headed back home. We had lasagne for dinner and we then each had ice-cream and then we happily lit a fire and toasted marshmallows. Then we both tiredly went to bed.

Emily Roe That sounds amazing, girls! I've always wanted to see whales out at sea but I suppose I'll have to go on a whale-watching cruise to see them. Blue whales, the largest creatures on Earth, used to be my favourite animals! I hope the weather up there is nicer than it is here. Enjoy it while you can! Lots of love from Emily xo
Benjamin Did you get any good close-up (ish) pictures? Missing you, Ben
Kosta Looks like your having fun. Thanks you for the post cards
Helen Trotter Hi Abbie, I have really enjoyed reading your blog, what an amazing trip you are having! It looks as though you are getting close to the only part of Australia that i have travelled to, don't forget about visiting South West Rocks. We do miss you at school, i'm sure you know that Kate and Steph have your photo in your place so that they can still see your smiling face while they are working! Hope you aren't too inundated with messages as we set the task for homework! Enjoy the rest of the time love from Mrs Trotter
