Abbie - The sand was getting crushed as Granny, Mum, Olivia and I ran along the beach. As we finished running we went for a swim in the ocean, which surprisingly had one meter tall waves. While we were in the ocean it started to rain, so we got out and decided to drive to Port Douglas for the day. When we got there we had lunch at a restaurant and also walked along the beach. We drove back and past Ellis Beach as we were driving to the Cairns night market. After a great day it was time to go.

Olivia - Today we got up and Granny, Mum, Abbie and I decided to go for a run while Dad walked behind us. We did about three kilometres of running. We kept going while Abbie tiredly stopped and started to walk back to Dad. We left our caravan at the Cairns caravan park and headed for Port Douglas. We got there and found a market in the middle of the town. We got a few things there and then we spotted a restaurant. So we had lunch there. It was about four o'clock and we headed back to Cairns. We went to the Cairns Night Market. I found an owl bag there and loved it because it was so cute. We had something to eat and then we left. We got back home and we were so tired we went to bed straight away.
