Abbie - This morning we got up quite early and got packed to go to Magnetic Island. Then we left and went to the ferry depot. We got on the ferry at 8.45. The engine started revving and we were off. The view on the way over was great and surprisingly the ferry was fast. When we pulled into Nelly Bay we got off and went to hire our Moke (the Moke is a small car with no doors or windows, that has a shade cover). Then we headed off in the Moke. The first bay we went to was Horseshoe Bay. We walked from Horseshoe Bay to Radical Bay, which amazingly was a very tiring walk. After we drove to Arthur Bay where we went snorkelling but only saw a few fish. Next we went back to Horseshoe Bay and we had nachos for lunch. After we headed back and had to take our car back. Then we headed off on the ferry. Finally we got back to the caravan park ad went to bed.
Olivia - This morning we got up quickly and went over to the camp kitchen to have breakfast. We came back and realised that we would miss the fairy at the 7.45 if we left. So we decided to go at 8.45. We got on the fairy and was interested I the colour of the water. We got to Magnetic Island where we excitingly hired a Moke car to travel around in. We went to Horseshoe Bay and did a walk that went to Radical Bay. It took about an hour to do. We got back exhausted and tired and hopped back in the Moke with no doors. We went snorkelling at Arthur Bay and didn't see much but little fish. We had lunch at a Mexican restaurant and enjoyed a great big plate full of nachos. We had an ice-cream and then we left. We returned our Moke car and went back to Townsville. We got to our caravan park and went in the pool with two other children in there with us. I damaged my leg by slipping on a brick with a gap of water. We had a BBQ for dinner and then went to bed.
