Locked in the room and no plans to do anything!

We woke up to late for breakfast, copey was feeling ropey and couldnt hold any food down anyway. I tried to open the door but we couldnt get out, i tried and tried for ages. Eventually a guy on reception had to go over the balcony and grab the key from me and get us out of the room.

We had no travel plans and copey was feeling bad so we decided to stay in cairo for one more night. We asked the bloke and he said it was fine. I looked on the internet for either flights out of egypt or something we could do in egypt. We were both getting a little bit tired of people trying to take money from you. The guy next to me who worked at the hostel said that they do a 5 days trip to luxor and aswan for $280 about £190 so we said ok. We went to maccys for dinner/breakfast and withdrew the cash, we paid the guy and he told us that he will sort it for tmw night.

We then sat in the hostel with the guy who was sporting the manchester top and he chatted to us and showed us pictures, even got us some tea to drink. He asked me to pay for the room so i handed him the £135 egp, i turned away and he said weres the £100 egp, im nearly 100% sure i gave it him, seemed id been scammed again, after that i didnt really trust this guy. Copey not feeling well stayed in while i went for a wander down the highstreet to look for t-shirts, i couldnt find any thin ones so gave up. I didnt get pestered at all, i just walked around as if i knew the place , when really i was just walking round in circles round the blocks! I grabbed a kfc for tea then went back to the hostel. The manchester guy then asked me who i paid for the trip and that only he and someother guy worked there and the guy we had paid was actually a guest and he had checked out. My arsed fell out and i was about to grab my bags and just leave cairo and egypt now! Turns out he was joking with us but man i feel for it big time, especially after the 100 egp incident earlier. It got to 9pm and i thought sod it im going bed, ive had enough.
