Have now finished my tour of the south island!

Visited the 2nd wettest place on earth on Thursday, Milford Sounds and yes it was raining! haha. Was up at stupid o'clock to catch the tour bus on the 4 hour drive to Milford via Te Anau, as well as the chasm along the Milford Road buried deep in temperate rainforest. After the rainforest walk in the rain returned o the bus and made our way to the dock at Milford and boarded the boat which would take us on the 3 hour sail of the sounds.

Once inboard we also had a buffet lunch before moving Ito the top deck to view the numerous waterfalls all cased by the rain which was still pouring! It's was also freezing on deck as well with Milford located about 3000km from Antarctica (the closest I ever want to be to there haha) so viewed the sounds from inside the boat. The rain did eventually ease so braved the cold and made my way outside for some pictures! 

After sailing into the sound we then disembarked at the floating observatory which allowed you to go 10m under the water and see the animals and coral in the sound, before hopping on another bot and getting back on dryland and heading back to Queenstown. Was a long journey back to Queenstown arriving back long after dark.

Was another stupid o'clock mornin on Friday as well to get on the 8 hour bus back to Christchurch. Arrived in Christchurch after 6 and made my way to the same hostel as the last time and again realised how small a world it was when bumped into dave who we'd met in Franz Josef!

Was an early night again followed by another even more ridiculously early morning to catch another bus and ferry this time to Wellington! Ferry across was really pretty but bloody freezing so sat inside watching heartbeat and the apprentice haha. Was grey seein Carmel again and had a great night out on sat in welly!

Will now be spendig around a week just relaxing and seeing the sights of wellington with Carmel!!

Windy welly hasn't been livig up to it's name yet haha although not that am complaining at all! Now off sightseeing!!
