My birthday!!!

Had an amazing birthday! It started with rich, tom and mel in Hanner Springs where I was brought breakfast in bed before geting my bday cake and chocolates!

We then drove the 90km to Christchurch where we dropped the car off and made our way to our hostel in the centre. Back to dorm rooms now first one of this trip though it's not too bad but not quite the spabath motels we had become acustommed to haha.

After dropping stuff off headed to burger king and then to wander around christchurch. Although is a city has more the feel of a big town. Me and rich then headed off for a walk around the botanic gardens whilst tom paid a visit to the dentist with mel. Weather was nice but was def an autumn nip in the air! After wandering around for a bit found a nice bar with outside seating where had a couple of drinks before heading back to the hostle and meeting Carmel!!!

Then was time to get ready and in paying homage to where we all meet we had dinner in a Thai restaurant! Before returning to the bar at base where me and rich enjoyed a good old boogie!!

Had an amazing day and night!

Spending weekend here now as plan is to go to Crusaders game tomorrow night so that should be another good night! As for today well have so far managed a McDs with Carmel but don't see it getting anymore productive than that haha.
