Hi guys, Pierre is currently getting his football fix and decided that it was conveniently my turn to update the blog. Well to be fair today's update is pretty easy =). We had a ruff night weather wise with the rain easing up around midnight but gale force winds developing taking its place. We decided just to take it easy and take advantage of the lunch time check out (most places are at least 11 but more commonly 12), it was a good chance for us to chill and make our way into Hora to catch to ferry with plenty of time to spare. I had one last peak through the lower area of the labyrinth of shops in the old town. Hora is quite the gem when it comes to jewellery, cotton, scarfs, and ornaments , and is probably the cheapest area so far on our trip. I really should stress this though, if your planning on doing Greece during the shoulder season- no later than now, as everything is starting to be closed up for the season. Back to our day. We arrived to the docks with plenty of time to board our boat, and met a Canadian couple a little younger than ourselves and shared a few notes on our journey's so far. We ticked off quite a few of the same things. Once onboard the boat we realized it was going to be a rough ride when the crew started passing out sick bags, the majority of the trip was spent with the ship running perpendicular to the winds which is never ideal. There were a few that chucked their cookies and both of us were thankful we were getting off on the first stop an hour into the ride.
We arrived at our new destination with our lunch intact and ready for our next adventure. Dinner was fabulous, we dined at Ephessus which cooked everything in a wood fire oven. Pierre has whole heartedly decleared that he loves moussaka, and I have to agree that its a dish I am also quite fond of and will have to learn to cook it once we get home. Well that brings me back to football and the end of our day. We are having a great time on our Greek adventure so far and although the weather hasn't been ideal the last 2 days, its forced us to put our feet our feet up and enjoy just relaxing. SJ.

Myles and Nina Pierre, I know you're watching NFL but not CFL, but hoping you were as pumped as I was to see that the Esks beat the Riders 24-0 this weekend!
Pierre Hells yeah I was Myles!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the score a few days ago!
