Today is a travel day and we are taking the ferry from Santorini to Naxos! We enjoyed a good breakfast at our hotel on the coolest morning we have had yet on our trip. As our ferry was bit leaving until 3:30, we spent the late morning and early afternoon walking around the Fira town and soaking in the last bit of the view from up top the Caldera! Finally it was time to leave and our generous and kind hosts dropped us off at the port to catch the ferry. After finally arriving in Naxos (our ferry was late and took a while to get everyone on) we hopped off to find a nice cool breeze but with beautiful and sunny views of the surrounding Hora town and the castle up top of the hill. We caught the bus down to the south end of Agio Prokopios (we are just north of Agia Anna beach) where we checked in to hotel Birikos and it is a beautiful place with lush green grounds and trees and a nice big swimming pool! Our hosts are awesome and very nice and the hotel is 100m from the beach and our room is great. The town is small but with some good restaurants and shops and its not really busy and touristy which is nice! really looking forward to spending the next 4 nights here and getting to see more of this big beautiful island!
