Today started early with catching a train at 8.34am to get to Berlin and after 4.5 hours through some of the most amazing country side we arrived in Berlin to get off the train and be hit by freezing cold air, holy moly we didn't realise how cold it was going to be due to it being warmer in Nuremberg but I guess it's only going to get colder the further we head north :@ we hadn't had any wifi so I couldn't book our accommodation for the night so after finally figuring out how to get into the city area from the train station we were dropped at we headed to the nearest Golden Arches to get ourselves some wifi and book our nights accommodation. We headed to the hotel across the road the nh hotel which we stayed in the same brand last night in Nuremberg and then continued to do my pet hate at the hotel at home which was walk in and ask how much and then make the booking online, it's a pain in the ass for the reservations clerk and I know this but it bit me in the ass as it was the wrong hotel so we had to walk a further 1 km to the correct hotel. We finally checked in and left our stuff to go for a quick walk to check point Charlie which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel but it then proceeded to rain, like it wasn't already cold enough lol so we made a quick dash back to the hotel where I proceeded to order room service and have a bath, a new day tomorrow and a lot to see and do.
