Left Marseilles for Nice today, the sun was out and a it was a stunning day. It was a few hours on the train and what beautiful scenery along the way, just amazing countryside with mountains, vineyards, ocean and rolling hills. I love the south of France. A lady sat beside us on the train and she had a little fluffy white dog and he was so cute and friendly, I got to have pats and it was nice talking to someone new. We arrived in nice and we didn't have accommodation booked so we headed straight towards town to get some wifi so we could book somewhere, we found the best western New York hotel right snack in the middle of everything and for only €53 a night you couldn't ask better. We checked ourselves in and dumped our stuff and went for a walk towards the water. WOW, what an amazingly beautiful place, we got there just in time for sunset and without a camera so we could just sit and enjoy, will bring the camera tomorrow. We have decided on a tour for Wednesday so tomorrow will just be a leisurely strolling around town kinda day.
