Today we start our road trip. First stop Mount Gambier.
The journey took us about 5 1/2 hours covering around 512 Kms. The driving was pretty good the roads are wide and there is nobody on them.
Tonight we spend a night in a goal which is different. The old mount Gambier Gaol was decommissioned in 1995 but up until 2010 it was still being used as a rehibilation centre for ex prisoners. It was used as a prison for 129 years, some of the cells go back to when it was built.
It even has a condemned man cell with 3 previous occupants who are buried in the grounds.
The owner reassures us that the area has been cleansed !!!
