I was really excited about discovering northern Thailand and it didn't disappoint. In Chiang mai we were still travelling with the Aussie girls and met up with Ross, the Canadian again who was with us in Vietnam which was lovely.

Bicycle's out exploring the old city was a lovely first day in Chiang Mai. Half way through biking around Bryn and I lost each other, then I noticed Thailand actually drove on the left side of the rode. Knowing Bryn didn't know this I searched the streets for an hour before heading back to the hostel, to find Bryn cooling by the pool! Grrrrr... :-) That night we went to the local clubs with some friends who live in Chiang Mai. The night ended with a heavenly chicken salad kebab... Or that was my drunken memory of how it tasted anyway, and drunkenly hanging out of the back of a Songtau.

The five of us headed to Wat Doi Suthep on motos the following day. Great ride up the mountain, pretty dam scary ride down in the dark!

Pai tomorrow, 138km by moto! :-)
